Hi My name is Pes and I am a new member in this forum. I will highly appreciate to share more with you. I only read of follicle stimulating hormones in biology. I never thought how its deficient in the body would affect me. As a young lady expecting a baby, I was filled with hope and admiration of siring my own baby. It never clicked in my mind that I would be a victim of failing to give birth. I was always disturbed about my condition but all of a sudden, I decided to visit the medic. Upon prior tests of my blood samples and cervical tests, it was found that I was secreting low follicle stimulating hormone. I never had a tumor before neither had I ever had a physical injury. My ovaries were unable to ovulate properly. The hormone responsible for ovulation was so low to very worrying levels. I got a bit stressed and didn’t have the guts to talk or converse a lot with my medic. At last the doctor broke the sad news that the problem was a result of a malfunction of my pituitary gland. It was my worst feeling ever in my life. As usual, I had to go back home and think of the next move I would take. The tablets I was given to boost my hormonal production gave me hope that all will be well. After a while, I conceived and was to give birth in eight months’ time. I was happy and merry.

Pes I am so honoured to read your confession. Normally, through my research pituitary gland dysfunction is caused by hormonal imbalance in the body. As a result, you may experience depression, anger, loss of memory, loss of sleep, headaches and mood swings. It is always advisable once you experience such feeling to see the doctor.
