How to Get Started

All posts on Bishopston Mum chat can be viewed without logging on. To post to a thread you must first register as a Member or log on.

 

To register, click on the 'Register' link on the top righthand side of the navigation. Registration is quick and easy and once registered you'll be able to begin posting.

 

To Start Posting (Creating a Thread)

  • - Choose a board from the homepage e.g. Pregnancy & Birth.
  • - Click on the blue 'Create Thread' button within the header bar of first pink box.
  • - This will take you to an Edit thread page, fill in your title and information and scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue 'Create Thread' button.
  • - Your thread will now appear within the board list of threads.

 

To Reply to an Exisiting Thread (Post to a Thread)

  • - Choose the board from the homepage e.g. Pregnancy & Birth, and then click on the thread you wish to respond to e.g. Experiences of Home Birth.
  • - You can either click on the blue 'Reply' button in the pink header of the top and bottom boxes. Or start typing within the Quick Reply box at the bottom of the thread.
  • - If you choose to click on the 'Reply' button you will be taken to a new reply edit box page. Fill in the details of your reply, scroll to the bottom and click the 'Create Post' button.
  • - Your reply will appear at the bottom of the thread.
