My name is Tim and I am a new member in this forum. I will highly appreciate to share more with you. A funny thing happened in my pregnancy life. Constipation occurred at a time when no one could expect and caught me unawares. It was in my first month of pregnancy that I experienced so. I took it for granted with no such details but later suffered the consequences of constipation. My anal veins started swelling but I never thought it could be as a result of pregnancy. If not treated it can cause discomfort. So, I decided to visit a physician for treatment. The condition was so unfamiliar to me as the doctor called it the development hemorrhoids. I used to get dehydrated almost every other minute as is always the case. It was unknown to me that I was supposed to take six to eight glasses of water each day. I only took none which aggravated the problem. When I visited the physician, I was put on a drip for two hours to replenish the water that I lost. I was also advised to take a few walks to exercise the body as would auger well with my condition. The worst thing I also never did was to take food rich in fiber. It was my worst time ever and after following all the doctor’s instructions I found myself healed for the better. I started consuming wholegrain bread and cereals and with the intake of more water and the conditioned vanished forever.

Thank you for your post. Your condition is common among women during pregnancy. This is as a result of the body deprived of the water which is very important for the metabolism of the baby and the mother. The supplements that one is supposed to take is food rich in prenatal vitamins, fibre and frequent intake of water.Frequent exercise is also very important in the process.
