My name is Ter and I am a new member in this forum. I will highly appreciate to share more with you. Over the moon, I felt when I conceived. I was having a hope of delivering an angel to my heart and a bouncing baby. Each and every month of my trimester I felt an inch of courage. With time, I started experiencing the worst-case scenario of heartburn and nausea. It became so much uncomfortable that I couldn’t concentrate at all times. Whenever I took some food, the stomach acid would start coming over to my mouth. I never had a solution to the problem. I used to chew calcium rich rocks to ease the feeling but it never brought forth any solution. It was one day I visited the medic and was advised to take antacid tablets. As usual, I used to take three tablets in a day and reduced later to one tablet. Whenever I lay down after a heavy and big meal, it became worse. As a remedy, I raised the head of my bed to about fifteen centimeters to suppress it to reduced levels. All this worked and I also developed a habit of drinking a glass of milk and eating yoghurt every day. When the time of giving birth came nearer the same problem recurred but this time not that serious. I didn’t hesitate to visit the doctor again and was advised to stick without skipping the instructions like I was advised to do. The problem ended completely till I gave birth.

Welcome, Ter to this forum. I have done research and I have found that heartburn is mostly brought by overeating often. This increases the production of hydrochloric acid in the body. It is this acid that causes heartburn. Also, it is advisable to limit the overuse of foods like citrus fruits and tomatoes as they increase the acidity in the stomach. Hope this will be of help to you.

Hi! You really need to take care of your diet. Ask your doctor to give a proper diet to avoid such things. Everything will be alright. Just stay patient. Good luck.

Hello. Hope you are doing well. It is good to know that you dont feel this way now. Congratulations on having a baby, first of all. Pregnancy is different for everybody. Everyone experiences different things during the time. I'm glad its over for you now. My friend just got pregnant after IVF. She is getting some frequent headaches these days. But the doctor said its nothing serious. They are not too intense so we are not worried. But it is advised to get anything like this checked by a professional especially when you are pregnant. It is important to stay on the safe side. So maybe it is because of the pregnancy too. Hope it goes away soon.

I am glad things got better. These issues can be a serious cause of stress. Therefore, it is important to be careful. I think the best step you took was to ensure that you kept visiting your doctor for checkups. Often women just keep it on pending. Congratulations on the birth of your baby. I am sure it must be extremely joyful for you. Good luck to you.
