My name is Ter and I am a new member in this forum. I will highly appreciate to share more with you. When I first became pregnant, I thought it would be a ride in the park. The first signs were nose blockage and unusual running nose. My conscience told me that it was just a normal infection. I just ignored it and decided to forge forward with life. On one early morning blockage eased and the nose started to bleed. I was pissed off without a doubt and visited the physician. The medic diagnosed me with a cold syndrome. He couldn’t discern whether it was a pregnancy issue. As time lapsed, the problem became full brown to an extent of being untreatable. The doctors were stressed, everyone was stressed and even thought my life was in danger. Samples of mucus were taken and laboratory tests were done. To the surprise of everyone, it was learnt that it was the effect of pregnancy hormones. On learning that, the medics gave me saline drops that I inhaled to my nostrils. My delicate lining of my nostrils became less soft and less swollen. Close to giving birth, the condition had healed and became happy again.

Hi, Ter. Your story has really touched me. The fact that you healed is a great step toward such a condition. On the other hand, stuffy and blockage of noses can be brought by sinus infections and allergies. Methods of reducing nose blockage can be the use of humidifiers and avoid irritation of the nose.Especially when you experience such a condition again trying to consume food rich in vitamin C.
