I think it’s great that they won’t charge any additional fees. Nevertheless, you’re going to get some treatment in Ukraine. Aren’t you afraid to go there, dear? This country is at war. In addition, it’s rather poor. If I were you, I would choose another place for cycling… Even if you go there, try to find out whether it’s really safe to visit this country.

Hi, there! I don’t consider Ukraine to be a bad place for cycling. This country does have some problems (including war), but most of its territory is a peaceful one. The war is in the East of Ukraine, but we came to cycle in Kiev. It’s the capital city. We quite liked it as it seemed to be very modern. There were quite a lot of interesting things to see there. The clinic’s reps we dealt with organized short excursions around the city when we had a spare time.

Hi, there. I decided to write here because I need your help. I’m 37 years old, and I suffer from early menopause. Actually, I started to have problems with my periods 5 years ago. Everything started with short delays, and 10 months ago was the last time I had my periods. I’ve passed all possible tests, and my gyny diagnosed me with early menopause. Two years ago, I married a very nice man. We love each other greatly, and we want to become parents as soon as possible. As I’m not able to produce oocytes any more, the doctor advises us to try egg donation. We decided to try our luck with egg donation. We got interested in two clinics that are located overseas. Both clinics seem to be rather reputable ones and have loads of favorable feedbacks. When we visited these clinics, we found some things that made us hesitate. When we came to a foreign country, we were met at the airport by the driver. The clinic’s representatives supplied us with the apartment and meals, and it was really nice. Nevertheless, when we came to the clinic, we were unpleasantly surprised by the way we were treated there. Firstly, the clinic was located in a private villa overcrowded with visitors. There wasn’t even a vacant place to stand. Each couple required nearly half an hour to consult a doctor. We had to wait nearly two hours before the doctor was ready to meet us. Overall, we liked this fertility specialist, but during our talk her phone rang several times, and she answered to both calls. We visited another clinic. The things were quite different there. We were met by a courteous administrator, and the doctor was extremely soothing… However, the clinic was empty. Now we have to decide which clinic to choose… Frankly speaking, I liked the second one, but it was sooo empty. The first one can’t organize their work properly, but they do have patients… P.S. I know that we’d better do ED in the UK. However, there are some things that make us go overseas. It’s a little bit risky, but we have to do this. Maybe, there is someone here with the same problems. I would gladly listen to your stories… I really need your help!!!

Hello dear. So sorry to hear about your condition, early menopause at 37? Please be strong dear. I had to go through a similar experience with my closest cousin earlier this year. Though unlike your case she just hit 40 and menopause hit too. She originally didn't like the idea of egg donation but she was eventually warmed up to it. She and her husband travelled to Ukraine for their procedure. She told me she had chosen a clinic in kiev, the BioTexCom clinic. She also said their service was impeccable, from the hotel rooms to the food to transportation, everything was handled by the clinic. The professionalism of the staff of this clinic put her mind at rest, at least one less thing to worry about. She was particularly elated that she didn't have to spend more than three days as she had to go back to work. If you want a high level of professionalism, i guess you should try them too. However she said she was allowed to choose her donor but was not allowed to meet her. If thats okay with you, maybe you check them out. I really wish you the best, may all your wishes come true for you. Stay positive.

So sad that you have to go through premature menopause at only 37. Stay positive. I had the same issues as you did, and used a clinic called BiotexCom in Ukraine, and love it. Good luck

lovely moon, have you ever heard of BioTex clinic in Ukraine. It is a clinic with specialised doctors who help clients with infertility problems. To be precise, I have ever been to this clinic and the services were phenomenal. I understand the pain and anguish a mother goes through on learning that she can give birth. It really shatters the heart. She gets so overwhelmed with no other alternative. It becomes too hard to comprehend and master what brought such a condition. But through the right clinical procedure, you rise again. I bet at BioTex you can get the right services any other time you experience such.

Hi lovelymoon, I don’t think there is enough information to base your decision on. The number of patients in either of the clinic doesn’t say much for the ability of the clinic’s staff to treat you well. Whether to go for egg donation in either of the clinic cannot be decided alone by the emptiness of the clinic. I suggest you dig more into this and then come to a conclusion. And if I may suggest a clinic abroad, I would say the BioTexCom in Ukraine is a clinic with highly professional programs for ivf egg donation and surrogacy. You should well read about them once here on the forum an on the site as well. Their initial consultation, accommodation, food is all really good and also the managers they speak good English. For the staff, they are highly skilled and professional. Moreover, their surrogacy contracts include unlimited attempts. Overall, it is a favourable option when going abroad for IVF. Take your time in considering all the options out there and may you take the right decision. Wish you all the best.

Like ammanma said, it is not so sensible to judge a clinic by its crowd. You might want to see how the doctors and their initial consultation are in both of the clinics. Also find out how the staff at both the clinics are with their treatment procedures. Try and ask people about their experiences at the respective clinics. And as you said, people o the forums have been giving good feedbacks about one of these clinics, I believe learning from other’s experience might be a good thing in this case. Anyways, it’s your decision, and it’s very important how comfy you feel with the doctors and the staff at the clinic. Stay strong, and positive. Wish you good luck.

Also check if they give you access to the egg donors database. Does either of the clinic provide that? There’s one that I know, which does give you access to the donors database. BioTexCom at Kiev, Ukraine not only gives you access to the egg donors database, they also let you choose 4 to 5 donors and the doctor then tells which one is the best. I hope you find the best clinic.

Hey lovelymoon, thanks for sharing your experience. I believe there is something to learn for all of us from every post that’s been posted here. It gives us something to inspire from when we read success stories and brings us close and compels us to stand together for the rest of us still fighting infertility.

Well said Christ. Decision to choose a clinic should not be based on the number of couples in there. There can be many reasons for the crowd that you saw on that particular day and the emptiness at the other one. It is also possible that on other days the clinic with crowd might turn empty and the other crowded. So, make syre you learn from the experiences that others have shared about their egg donation at these clinics as we read a few about BioTexCom. Wish you good luck.

You know, I was very worried and at first very afraid. But my husband always supported me, and I began to read about the technology, the conditions. When the time came to choose a clinic, I chose Ukraine and did not regret it. Just before the procedure, I even cried, it was scary and joyful that I would soon become a mother. Now I have two lovely children, two boys, they are already 5 years old. So do not worry, I believe you will be all right.

Hi, there! I’m really glad that Biotexcom turned to be so popular. At least, I see that they are real professionals. We had a phone call from the clinic the other days. They are offering us to visit them one time. I told them about the things we disliked, and they apologized. My hubby says that we should visit them one more time as their prices more than suit us. I hesitatate… So should we go there or not???

I think all depends on you, hun. You are the one who should make up a decision in this situation. If you feel comfortable with Biotexcom, you may choose them. Why not? According to your posts, the clinic does seem to be ok. The fact that they are a little bit overcrowded may mean that they are really effective one. Just trust your gut and you’ll know what to do further. I wish you good luck in whatever you choose.
