I have a question. Maybe I get some satisfactory answer here. Anyone here not has periods at all? I went without a cycle for 5 years. I think it is due to being on Mirena. After they removed it and put in a Nexplanon, they said I might start spotting a little every month. They further said that I even have a regular period. I've also lost over 100 lbs. They were expecting that would help me regain a cycle. I still haven't bled a drop. I am not TTC. I just worried about my health. It is risky not having periods for so long. Has anyone experienced this? How to deal with it?

I am sure you know that Nexplanon is effective 99%. You will have birth control up to 3 years. As you have asked for any opinion on this; I think you should really consult a doctor. It is best if you have a checkup. I am sure everything will be alright but just to be sure. When I was in BioTexCom for fertility treatment; many women visited them and some of them have this menstrual cycle issues. I really advised you to see doctor.

Hello Tessa!!! I read your post and really worried about that. It’s really a thing where we have to worry. I don’t know what the reason behind your removal and then transfer into nexaplanon. I am very confused and don’t know what to say to you. usually, in this case, women have to bleed in excess. Minute chances of not getting even a drop of blood. Although I know your concerns are related to your health and not for fertility. But believe me, a woman after the marriage has this issue can put her in a critical situation. Have you seen that most of the forums are now related to infertility and woman pregnancy issue? This is not due to the modernism. Because the major thing is now it has become a normal thing. And most of the clinics are offering their services to get rid of infertility. So it’s a point to ponder over it. Visit same doctor or hospital and aware them about your situation. The second thing it may be just because of your weakness and health issue. Your body is not producing enough blood or unable to differentiate this dirty blood from the clearer one. Stop thinking and reach to hospital. Thanks!!!

Hello. This is not normal at all. I don't mean to scare you. But you have been losing weight really fast. It could be because of the condition you mentioned. But you need to take some measures here. You should see a doctor at once. I hope your problem gets solved. Good luck.

This is a concerning issue. I would suggest you visit a good clinic for your assistance. When I had the same issue I was put on a Provera cycle. That did help with my cycle. Therefore, you can ask your doctor about medicine as well. Dont worry! I am sure things will get better. however, consulting a doctor at this point is very important.

I think you should visit a doctor. It is so important to take care of your health. If this is something that is not in your genes then consult one. I hope you get answers. Good luck to you. Sending baby dust your way. Good luck! Hoping for the best.
