Thank you rita for sharing useful information about the procedure in the clinic. I would like to add more to it as I have been there for surrogacy myself and have experienced first hand. Yes, it is true that you have to wait till the surrogate mother is matched for the stimulation process to begin. And once you hear the news from the managers that the surrogate mother has been matched, the stimulation starts. You cannot choose or meet the surrogate mother before 12 weeks of her pregnancy. You can meet or talk to the surrogate mother over skype after 12 weeks. I found their program very professional and stress free. Hi dear. A good friend of mine has a 2-year-old son from surrogacy in Ukrainian Lotus clinic. Here how it went for them. The very first thing is that a couple must be officially married in time the first appointment is conducted. They had to show the papers proving that she couldn’t get pregnant. Then they flew to Ukraine, where were met and offered the hotel (for the clinic’s expense!). The next morning they were driven to the clinic where all the necessary testing was done. That very day they also visited their doctor. And there was no language barrier as an interpreter was by their side every minute. So they had a great chance to clarify every single question. After that, all the papers were signed and the first sum of money was paid. The second appointment was conducted in order to get sperm and retrieve eggs. They used their own eggs too. That day her eggs were fertilized with her husband’s sperm. On the fifth day after that, the embryo was transferred to the surrogate mother. Then they had a two-week wait for the pregnancy test. Thanks to God it was positive and their surrogate had the first scan approximately in a month. That was their first time they saw her real!! After that every month the surrogate was to come for being scanned. And my friend received every single photo and video from the procedure with translation. On week 32-34 their surrogate came to Kiev and they all waited for the childbirth at the place. Their baby boy was born by planned Caesarean, so they had to stay longer than three days in the clinic. Then the surrogate signed the papers of her baby refusal and the deal was almost done. After all the papers in the embassy were ready they flew home.

it isn't too complicated a procedure. I had been considering it for quite
some time now. I am more than 40 years old you see. And 12 years
ago, I found out that I was infertile because of problems in my uterus.
I have no problem taking care of a child born through surrogacy. I was

Hello. I am also infertile and I have chosen the surrogacy to get a baby. We are in the middle of the process now. Our surrogate is already pregnant. We are not rich at all that's why we have also chosen the reproduction center abroad. It costs much cheaper in Europe. It's really great idea to go to Ukraine for surrogacy. I know that the quality of medicine there is pretty high and the prices are affordable.
It is very important to choose a good doctor. When we arrived to our reproduction center we were surprised how modern it looked. The next day we met our doctor. He answered all our questions and assured us that everything would be fine. After all the examinations we were allowed to go home. We received a call in a couple of months. Our coordinator said that they found the surrogate for us. In a couple of weeks the embryo was transferred. Our doctor said that it takes 21 days to find out is the embryo was transferred successfully. That’s why we had to return home again.
As I already said, our surrogate is pregnant. We are about to become parents soon. I have no words to explain how happy we are. We are preparing her room and buying tiny cute clothes. Yes, it’s gonne be a girl.
I always wanted to have a big family with kids. Unfortunately, I had no chance to give birth. But I’m very happy that we found the solution. Surrogacy really works and it is great.
You know, my life has already changed. And it will change even more after the baby birth. I understand that I will have no free time, but I am happy. My dream is about to come true.
