My name is Tim and I am a new member in this forum. I will highly appreciate to share more with you. It was very hard and difficult to describe how infertility meant to a lady. It had a so disastrous impact to my life as a whole. I struggled with infertility for seven years and yet remained strong. As a marriage counsellor, I always struggled to put words across to my clients. My close colleagues used to call it a crusher of souls which ended up inflicting pain in my heart. My self-esteem was lost and couldn’t muster any courage to serve all my clients. Married to my husband for twenty years, I was always on birth control and both of us yearned to have a family of ourselves. It was barely two years I had been done an operation where my appendix was removed. I didn’t know it would interfere with my getting children. I used to have painful periods which was also accompanied with painful ovulation. Through the doctor’s advice, I decided to stay away from using the pills. They really aggravated my problems and worsened the case of me getting children. No one from my husband’s family lineage had the same problem that I had. I always thought it was genetical but it was not. It was as a result of continuous use of birth control pills which damaged my uterus and ovaries.

I am thrilled by your experience, Tim. What you experienced is very emotional. It is very right to see a medic anytime you experience such. On the contrary, apart from prevention of pregnancy, pills can help you to overcome the trauma that arises when in doubt during sex. On the other hand, the use of pills has more advantages like it prevents bone thinning, acne, the growth of cysts in the ovaries and breasts and the serious infections that usually occur in the ovary. So kindly keep following the doctor and I am 100% convinced you will get better.

That is unfortunate. Good luck. Try finding another solution. For me it was infertility clinics. They were fantastic. I used Biotex and you can use whichever you prefer. With Biotex I got a solid price. I also didn't have to give up on trying again! How here we are. Across the world.

I concur with you eagerfamily98. I had the tendency of using pills quite often in my life but they later missed me. It was a time of grief and sorrow where I could not believe that I would live a life without a baby. Pills affected my cycle of the monthly periods and the tendency to become fertile. All the eggs that I produced were all premature and it really gave me a lot of a hard time trying to figure out my next course of action. I tried to exhaust all available channels to boost my fertility and it could not work. I was living a life of despair and despondency. In every clinic and hospital, I went to, the cost of the procedure for fertility was very expensive. I decided to shift to BioTex clinic in Kiev in Ukraine. The whole procedure was cost effective and until now I cannot regret. I am also a proud mummy of a very cheerful girl.

Hi dear. If you are facing any such problem where you think that you are suffering from infertility due to use of pills, I will suggest you consult a doctor first. I was lucky that I got the support of Lotus center for all my pregnancy-related matter and their tips helped me a lot. there's no evidence that long-term use of the birth control pill interferes with fertility. Some women experience a disruption in their menstrual cycle for several months after going off the Pill (a condition called post-pill amenorrhea). In fact, taking the Pill can protect you from diseases – such as ovarian and uterine cancers – that can lead to infertility. Researchers have also found that long-term Pill use may improve the symptoms of endometriosis, a condition that can cause abnormal menstrual bleeding and result in infertility. Finally, the Pill has been shown to reduce the incidence of ectopic pregnancy – when a fertilized egg is implanted outside the uterus, typically in one of the fallopian tubes. (Unfortunately, an ectopic pregnancy can't result in a successful birth.). Some doctors advise trying to get pregnant as soon as you go off the Pill, but I recommend that you wait until after you get your first period – usually four to six weeks after going off the Pill. That way, you'll know you're ovulating. If you still haven't gotten your period two months after stopping the Pill, it's a good idea to check with your healthcare provider. There may be an underlying problem that needs to be addressed. But don't be concerned if you do get pregnant right after going off hormonal contraception. Research suggests that there's no need to worry about the effects of any lingering hormones on your baby. Remember that it's always a good idea to talk to your healthcare provider before going off any hormonal contraceptive.

Hello Tim. I am sorry to hear that. I hope you manage to find a solution. Yes, prolonged usage of contraceptives can be harmful. This is why women need to be more careful while using them. Have you considered other options? You could go for uterus implantation, surrogacy or adoption.

Again a case of abortion-causing infertility problems! Dear, why do you get pregnant when you are not ready to have a baby? You should have protected intercourse. Another mistake you made was using the birth control pill. Now you will have to pay the consequences. As far as children are concerned you can still have them through surrogacy. I have a baby through surrogacy and I am planning for the same. Kindly think about it.

Sometimes we make some bad choices and then, later on, we have to bear the consequences of it. If you were not ready to have a baby then you should have protected sex but you used birth control pills and look what have they done to you. Don’t be so upset. There is a solution to your problem. You should try for surrogacy. I can share my experience with you but first, you need to make a proper decision.

Hello. I'm really sorry to hear about that. I've always had mixed feelings about such pills. They mess with your hormones. The working of your body is disturbed. One should never take a risk like that. I understand there is a need. But there are other precautions you can take too. But its really important to use stuff of high quality. But even that does not give you a guarantee. But hey. Thank you for telling us about it. People will think twice before using these things now. Coming back to you. I'm sorry that this is happening. If medication doesn't work for you, you can try other options. Maybe IVF would work? You should talk to a professional about this. Hoping for the best for you. dont lose hope already.

I can very much relate to you. This journey is not an easy one. There are soo many highs and lows. The hardest part is to keep on moving forward. Like it is soo hard to deal with a failed cycle and start a new one. I have been on this journey for more than 6 years now. Nothing has really been the easiest. Really hoping for the best.
