Hey everyone! I hope everyone is doing good. I am new on this forum. I am here is to discuss a problem which has been giving me nightmares. I have been married for 2 years. After being unable to conceive for one and a half year my husband and I decided to visit the doctor. The doctor broke the bad news to us.He told me that my ability to produce eggs was very poor. Meaning that my hormones were high in FSH and low in AMH. This meant very small chance of conceiving, However, he also told my husband that he also has a problem with poor sperm motility. This obviously is worrisome for both of us. I am here to seek some real advice. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hey monikaa! How are you? Sad to hear about you and your husband. Can you tell which tests the doctor took to declare that? But you don't need to be worried about it. Nowadays there are many other ways to have babies. IVF and surrogacy are quite common these days. IVF is a process in which eggs and sperms are kept in laboratory to get fertilized under specific circumstances. Then they are transferred back to the uterus. While in surrogacy, you use someone else's womb to have your child. In both the processes you may go for donor's eggs. If you have got some problems with yours. Both have their own benefits. You have got to get yourself checked first. Consult a doctor. Take some good advice. Then go for one. Best wishes.

Hello. The kinds of issues that you two are facing are very easy to solve. There are many treatments out there that can fix your hormonal problem and help your husband out too. After the two of you are ready, you guys can choose between IVF or IUI to try for a baby. I am very hopeful that they will turn out to be successful for you two and I they do not work out then the option of surrogacy or adoption is always there. But first, find a nice clinic to get this all done from.

Hello, dear. You are not alone with your problem. A lot of women nowadays have hormonal imbalance. There are a lot of reasons, which could cause this issue. You still produce eggs and it is great. Your doctor should figure out what solution is the best for you. IVF can be a great idea. As usual, it is recommended to those, who can’t get pregnant naturally. Unfortunately, there are some cases when IVF doesn’t work. For example, I’ve gone through several rounds of IVF but I was unable to get pregnant. In this case I was advised to try the surrogacy. I agreed and I just found out that my surrogate is pregnant. So, I will meet my baby soon. It makes me really happy. A lot of women are afraid of surrogacy. The whole process is very simple. Just choose a good clinic and they will help you. Your eggs and your husband’s sperm will be used for the embryo transfer. So, as a result, the baby born will be genetically related to both of you. In the birth certificate you will be mentioned as biological parents of the baby. At first you will have to go through some examinations and tests. After that they will find the surrogate for you. The embryo will be transferred and in 3 weeks you will find out the result. By the way, don’t forget to sign an agreement. It will protect you in case if the surrogate decides to keep the baby. So, you will have nothing to worry about. There are a lot of good reproduction centers, which offer surrogacy programs. Visit a couple of them and choose the one you like. Prices are pretty high. That’s why I recommend you to go to Europe. They also offer high quality service.

Thank you so much for such an overwhelming response. It feels great when women on this forum understand you and feel you. I had an appointment with my doctor yesterday along with my DH. The doctor told us that we both should try opting for IVF as it will help us conceive. A sperm will be combined with my egg in the laboratory. Obviously, that is what both of us want. However, I want a more insight into this. What is the procedure like? Is it painful? I have heard the egg extracting process can have some affects. And how long does it take to work out? More importantly, where should I get it done from? Is there anyone who has gone through this? Success story would be amazing to boost my confidence. Thank you in advance.

You are not alone here, a hormonal imbalance is a problem with most women face. And it can be fixed. You should go see a doctor take your time and decide what's best for you and your husband. This is scary and your nightmares are fair, any woman in your shoes would go through the same mental state as you are. I wish you all the best

Hey everyone a little update. Since I was confused about the treatment that I was going for. A lot of people helped and said that I should first start looking for a good known clinic. I may search this forum did really help as a lot of people suggested different clinics. Some suggested in the USA some in UKA while a huge sum of people even suggested clinics in Europe. Anyways, I started listing each and every clinic. After which I started researching on them. Finally, was able to find a clinic which met all my needs. They were very considerate and knew what they were doing. As I was a little worried that I might be wrong about the whole situation. However, they double checked all the information. They were also very informative about the information they provided. I was so astonished when they told me about the whole procedure. I really liked they client-practitioner relationship that they established. The packages offered were reasonable as well as compared to the other clinics. So my DH is convinced we will be visiting them soon.

Monika, I can imagine how much hard it is. You just need to take care of yourself. I know the condition when a woman knows about her disability. It is like as someone is saying that you are not able to live more. That’s are soul driven moments. A lot of hugs for you. don’t worry and don’t take tension. Many clinics are offering surrogacy then try to choose one of them. That suits you more.

Hi. How are you doing? So sorry to hear about that. Maybe you should consider going for IVF with donor eggs? See if this option has a chance of working for you. A lot of people are doing it these days. You should consider it too. Hope you become a mother soon. Don't lose hope.

Hey, I hope you are well. I just wanted to tell you about something I read. So there is this clinic in eastern Europe that does a process called Mitochondria donation. It is honestly for you. what they do is that they take a donor egg and from it inject out the mitochondria. This is then injected into the patient's egg. This provides the egg the energy that helps with implantation. I think you should look into it.

I have heard about Mitochondria donation as well. But as far as I know, it is still an uncommon treatment. there was only 1 couple who went through this. or I am mistaken. I would think that if this practice was 100 per cent safe that other clinics in the world would adopt it as well. but it is under the radars or something. Well, it is best to do your research yourself, as I am for sure no professional. Good luck
