I am really sorry to know about your friend. I can understand that this must be very hard for her. However, my advice to her would be to not give up. I can understand that this can be a very difficult journey to be on. However, one has to be very strong. Her first step should be to visit a good doctor for good treatment. I am saying this from my own experience. I can help by sharing my clinic's information.

I am sorry to read about your friend's journey. I can understand how hard this must be for her. However, honestly speaking I would say that your friend shouldn't lose. Ask her to visit a good clinic and start treatment. Recently my friend was told that she suffered from PCOS. She directly went forward with IVF as she believes that medication wastes your time. This is something that can be argued about however, things did work for her. Therefore, its all about being hopeful.

Its all about visiting the right clinic for the right treatment. The one I am visiting suggested treatment to us and it worked. Therefore, its all about making decisions. If she wants more help let me know.
